What You’ll Do
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the specification, development, testing and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, policies, and procedures that relate to payroll
- Support the designing, documentation and training employees on new payroll-related HRIS processes
- Consult with the People Services team, HR team, and other stakeholders to determine set-up needs for new HRIS payroll system
- Work collaboratively with the broader implementation team to ensure seamless transition from current HRIS and payroll systems to new Workday system
- Ensure proper system set-up and configuration for payroll administration (i.e. non-exempt, exempt, commissions etc.)
- Maintain data integrity and system functionality of all payroll information to ensure accuracy and successful operations
- Optimize the performance of our payroll administration system, including: gathering and analyzing data, developing and implementing new payroll processes, documenting processes, and making recommendations for improvements
- Responsible for performing analysis, validations, and audits in payroll systems to ensure quality control and adherence to established procedures and meet audit compliance
Who You Are
- 3+ years payroll experience ideally in a high-tech, high-growth environment, global/multi-location experience
- Working knowledge of multiple HRIS systems–BambooHR & PEO experience preferred, but not required.
- Workday HCM experience required with new system implementation set-up preferred.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Federal and State regulatory laws in regards to payroll.
- International Payroll Experience strongly preferred.
- Capability to apply discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes, decisions and handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work within compressed timeframes and embrace the sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness required in a fast-paced company.
- Can accomplish results and desired outcomes through formal and informal corporate structures.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong analytical skills - the ability to synthesize data and develop insights.
- Advanced excel skills.
