We are looking for a personable and resourceful People & Culture Coordinator to join our team and our mission to simplify team management and improve performance for restaurants everywhere. As the People & Culture Coordinator, you are a caring and organized people person! You love streamlining processes and creating a work environment that is exciting to come to. You never lose track of the details, demonstrate outstanding communication skills, excel at building strong internal and external relationships, and are always willing to lend a helping hand.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain HR documentation and communication including “How-To” docs, newsletters, etc
• Maintain HR documentation and communication including “How-To” docs, newsletters, etc.
• Assist the People & Culture Team Lead with onboarding new Shifties & keeping employee files up-to-date
• Keep the 7shifts org chart and accountability chart up-to-date
• Complete survey and grant applications
• Assist with HR reporting
• Assist with maintaining 7shifts Glassdoor page
• Assist the People & Culture Manager with federal and/or provincial immigration applications
• Respond to HR related inquiries or requests, provide assistance, and redirect or distribute correspondence to the appropriate people
• Work with the 7shifts social committee and the People & Culture Team to implement planned team building activities and events

What you have:

• A post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources
• 0-2 years experience in a similar HR role
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Apple products
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of Provincial Employment Standards Act’s

It’d be even cooler if you had:

• Experience working in the restaurant, technology, and/or SaaS industries
