Human Interest is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Manager, HRIS and People Operations to join its growing People Team! As our Sr. Manger, HRIS and People Operations you will play an integral role in the development, implementation, management, support, and maintenance of Human Interest’s people systems and operations. Additionally you will manage People Ops-related projects to further enhance and streamline for a seamless employee and manager experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction while balancing excellent analytical expertise to execute as we continue to scale.

- Manage, optimize, and document People related operations and processes, communications, policies, and procedures in support of our operations strategy and programs in accordance with policies and guidelines
- Partner with multi-functional team members to understand business requirements and communicate system capabilities/limitations while using in-depth knowledge of HRIS systems to propose creative solutions and recommendations for people operations improvements
- Drive measurable improvements through automation of business requirements and employee process friction points reducing process cycle times and improving employee satisfaction
- Be the primary owner of the Paycor HCM platform and processes relating to an employee’s lifecycle, including onboarding, employee record changes, promotions, compensation processing, and offboarding, while ensuring data integrity
- Design efficient processes and ensure consistent delivery of all policies, programs, and tasks across the company to drive standardization and improvements in People Team processes
- Own the delivery, documentation, and effectiveness of core People Team operations and processes, systems of record, and communication protocols with other functions such as Stock Plan Admin, Finance, Payroll, and Legal
- Lead the generation of appropriate data metrics across the employee lifecycle, including creating a plan for regular tracking and reporting, as well as dashboard creation and maintenance
- Lead a team of five People Team members supporting the entire employee lifecycle from sourcing, recruitment, compensation review and analysis, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Act as the point of contact for employee inquiries to resolve routine HRIS, policy, and/or process issues and provide recommendations for future improvements
- Develop resources and tools for the business to self-serve HR issues, and training resources for the People Team to use with business leaders
What you bring to the role
- 8+ total years of experience managing an HR Operations function, including administration, compliance, and related reporting; preferably with prior start-up experience
- Deep understanding of HRIS systems and data mapping
- Prior experience with Paycor, Jira, Okta and Greenhouse is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of people programs, strategy, design, practices, and related applicable laws
- Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative analysis, effectively lead projects, and present findings and recommendations in a coherent way
- Excellent writing skills - need to be able to break down complex processes into digestible policies and procedures that can be executed on by our operational teams
- Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors including legal regulations, company culture, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented attitude, and superior attention to detail
- A deep interest and ability to roll up your sleeves, dive into details, and perform the work yourself
- Technology-savvy skills, and are proficient in all Google applications

Compensation - The salary range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $155,000 - $170,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, compensation/equity mix, and market data. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
