The Sr. Manager, Organization Change Management (OCM), is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining organizational change management (OCM) services and programs to enable Quest Diagnostics employees to strengthen their change agility in order to achieve and sustain desired business results.  The OCM Solutions leader provides processes and tools that guide business leaders and team members to create a more resilient, effective and healthy organization.

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Change Management, Organization Development & Performance Management, and is part of the Organizational Effectiveness Center of Excellence (OE COE) within the Human Resources function.

Job Responsibilities:

•       Lead the implementation, management and advocacy of the OCM tools and resources to strengthen the enterprise-wide change capability and agility of the Quest organization

•       Execute on the strategic plan to implement role-based OCM curricula

•       Maintain the OCM Community site on share point

•       Monitor and analyze usage; define more effective means of implementation as needed

•       Develop and facilitate OCM workshops and presentations

•       Lead and guide the OCM Community of Practice

•       Provide leadership, expertise and support as an OCM subject matter expert to OE Partners, OE Team members, HRBPs, Project Managers and business leaders by:

•       Engaging as a thought partner, advisor, or consultant as agreed upon by OE Partners, HRBPs and business leaders

•       Coaching and consulting to project teams on the appropriate use of CM tools and practices

•       Facilitating and guiding project teams on the appropriate application of CM tools and practices with their project timeline

•       Collaborate closely with other OE COE team members to establish an enterprise-wide Organization Effectiveness framework and strategy that guides business leaders and teams to:

•       Assess the context of the business market

•       Determine applicable measures of success

•       Use underlying values and behaviors to shape a high performance culture

•       Establish the appropriate strategy to address gaps and opportunities

•       Develop and track appropriate evaluation tools and metrics on the results and organizational impact of OCM services and programs.

•       Write, improve, and revise practices, training materials, facilitator guides, and supporting documentation to deliver effective OCM solutions.

•       Performs other related duties as assigned by management as required to support the COE/Function/Business

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct reports.

Job Requirements:

Education Preferred:

•       Bachelor’s Degree in organizational behavior, industrial psychology, HR management, or related field Master’s Degree (MBA, Masters in Organizational Development, or related field) preferred

•       Trained in Organizational Change Management practices and principles (e.g., PROSCI, LaMarsh Global, John Kotter Model for Leading Change, etc.)

•       Proficiency in Organization Change Management theories, philosophies and methods

•       Certified in Korn Ferry Leadership Architect™ Competency Model or equivalent preferred

•       Certified in a personality style profiles such as Meyers-Briggs, DiSC, Insights or equivalent preferred

•       Trained in project management practices and principles

•       Demonstrated understanding and application of continuous improvement tools and practices

Work Experience:

•       8-10 years of progressive organizational effectiveness experience in a COE or HR Business Partner role

•       5-7 years program management experience serving in the lead role in an enterprise-oriented  organizational change practice

•       5 years of experience creating OCM processes and approaches for organizations, business or teams

•       Expert level proficiency in change management and project/program management approaches and tools; experience with agile project management methodology is a plus

•       Experience implementing effective organizational change programs within an enterprise with large scale initiatives executed across multiple business and functional units, ideally within a heavily matrixed environment; healthcare experience is a plus

•       Proven track record of accurate diagnosis and results/impact for a large-sized company

•       Understands and uses technology enabled solutions to increase speed and effectiveness of organization development solutions, strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with share point a plus

•       Demonstrated ability to use business process excellence tools to continually improve programs based on changing environment, business requirements, stakeholder requirements, and feedback mechanisms

•       Expertise in coaching and providing feedback across all levels of leadership, including executive level
