Hi, I’m Natalia Vassilieva and I’m the VP for People & Culture at StackAdapt. I’ve been with StackAdapt for 6 years and had the incredible opportunity to help the team grow from 20 to 500 + globally. StackAdapt is a Toronto, Canada-based company, and prior to the pandemic, our entire team was based in Toronto in a very awesome downtown office. We never imagined ourselves being a global company, but when the pandemic hit and our team went remote we were able to see how effective our team could be and there was no reason we couldn’t hire StackAdapters outside of Canada.

Since then we have expanded to the US (98 StackAdapters and counting), the UK (43 StackAdapters and counting) and more recently Singapore (3) and Australia (5). Our team has done an incredible job with our expansion thus far, and with all the success we’re seeing in these new markets it’s time we bring on someone to help StackAdapt scale the talent function and drive our global expansion further into 15+ countries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and driving global Talent Acquisition strategy, focusing on proactive and diverse candidate sourcing.
• Building, leading, and coaching a world-class team of recruiters globally to achieve company hiring goals.
• Partnering with executives to understand the structure of their teams, their ongoing projects, and their hiring needs.
• Identifying and developing relevant recruitment metrics and reports to allow for informed business decisions and utilizing data insights to tell a story.
• Ensuring all aspects of the recruitment process deliver a fantastic candidate experience.
• Providing direction to marketing and design teams on developing employer brand awareness and attraction strategies.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• You have a proven track record of full-cycle recruiting hundreds to thousands for tech companies.
• You’ve led and built large global talent teams, taking them through their expansion journey.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills; you can present with concision, develop thoughtful messaging, and the ability to build relationships across all levels.
• You are proficient in utilizing data to support a recruitment strategy that drives informed decision-making and budget control.
• You have a low ego, and no task is too big or too small - you understand that even at the VP level, you sometimes have to get your hands dirty.
• You’re adaptable and understand that things can change or move quickly in a scaling tech company.

1: Remote interview with Emma, Talent Advisor, from the Bloom Team

2: Virtual 60-minute interview with Rachel Lee (Director of Talent) and Natalia Vassilieva (VP of People and Culture)

3: Complete the StackAdapt talent take-home case study.

4: Virtual 60-minute technical interview with some of the wider talent team (Keziah Uychocde, Gelicia Walpol, Nuraa Ur-Rehman)

5: Virtual 60-minute interview with Ildar Shar (CEO)

6: Reference Check & Criminal Background Check
