Mattermost is seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented Workplace Programs Coordinator to join our growing People Team. In this role, you’ll help to shape Mattermost as a Destination Workplace where staff is enabled to bring their best self to work. You’ll manage and help to continually iterate upon existing Workplace Programs at Mattermost, proactively researching current remote workplace trends, and developing Mattermost specific workplace initiatives and inter-company immersion activities that support and foster a global destination workplace. You’ll work with multiple partners across the organization in various areas including coaching on overall organizational pulse, workplace management, workplace planning topics, experiences and team enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and help continually iterate Workplace Programs to represent the Mattermost culture and our roots in open source.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the org to assist with the execution of in-person events (team meet-ups, conferences, and Mattermost Community events).
- Support new staff onboarding programs, such as Onboarding Buddies and New Hire Orientation.
- Own the Workplace Handbook pages and Calendar.
- Create and maintain Workplace Program documentation, guidelines, process maps, educational, and other operational materials.
- Coordinate with multiple workplace vendors, act as the first point of contact for all vendor communications and requests, and help assess the quality of work and services.
- Oversee Mattermost Swag, including assessing, recommending, and executing new swag product deliverables and designs.
- Foster a positive and consistent candidate experience, including supporting internal employer branding initiatives.
Required Background/Skills:
- Very detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Experience supporting multi-operations for a global staff, distributed experience preferred.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proven ability to work with highly confidential data with a high level of professionalism.
- Exceptional communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally to achieve team goals.
- Experience planning virtual and live events for 50+ attendees.
- Able to travel internationally and within the US.
