Exit Interview Template

Exit interviews can be conducted in person, over the phone, or via an online survey.

When conducted properly and respectfully, exit interviews can provide valuable insights into an organization’s strengths and weaknesses. Employers can use this information to make improvements to their company culture and to the way they onboard and support employees.

To make this process easier, we’ve assembled an exit interview template.

This template is intended to help teams create an effective and informative exit interview experience. It is important to remember that state and federal laws may place additional requirements on employers with respect to employee referrals. This policy should be reviewed by legal counsel prior to implementation.
